NLC Gas Distribution Program



Our Gas Technician Training Program, provided by NLC, a nationally accredited college will equip you with the knowledge and skills for a career in the natural gas industry. If you want to experience an environment of camaraderie and teamwork, you will find it with Mears Group.

As part of our commitment to the military, we are proud to provide our Gas Technician Training Program at no charge to the service member, veteran or family member.


Our HEROES Gas Technician Training Program includes:

  • PAID technical training
  • NO COST to the service member, veteran or family member
  • NO COST for housing during the length of the program
  • NO COST for the program and NO NEED to use your GI Bill
  • GUARANTEED position upon successful completion of program

Career Skills/Skillbridge Program

The Career Skills/Skillbridge Program prepares transitioning active service members opportunity to participate in technical training programs that focus on the training and application of skills that can lead to full time employment upon transition.

Our Career Skills Program is a 7-week Gas Distribution Program at our Northwest Lineman College campuses located in Dallas, Texas and Edgewater, FL.


HOH Fellowship Program

The Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program is an innovative 12-week program at Mears Group that provides transitioning service members with a college degree professional training and hands-on experience. The development offered through the program prepares candidates for a smooth transition into meaningful civilian careers.
